Hi, I’m Fariza!
Thank you for visiting my website.
I love God and this space is an expression of that love. It is a creative sanctuary where I share the words Jesus places on my heart. This is where I share my reflections on the things that spark my curiosity in the realms of faith, culture, politics, biblical womanhood, and the pursuit of mental and physical well-being.
A little bit about me…
I was born and raised in post-Soviet Tajikistan and spent parts of my life in Russia while navigating the challenges and complexities of a world transitioning from communism. I grew up in a Shia-Ismaili family, where faith and tradition were integral parts of my identity. My journey has been anything but ordinary. From surviving the chaos of genocide after the collapse of the USSR to questioning my Islamic beliefs as a child, my life took an unexpected turn when I gave my life to Christ at the age of 11. That decision changed my life forever. It gave me the courage to dream beyond borders.
At 18, I left everything familiar behind and moved to the United States pursuing higher education and religious freedom. Each experience has taught me valuable life lessons, tested my resilience, expanded my worldview, but most importantly deepened my faith in Christ.
I pray that the words God places on my heart inspire you to reflect on your own journey of drawing closer to Jesus.I hope you discover new perspective, feel challenged, and find encouragement.
